OKKKK .. the other day, a friend made the observation that he really did not think I was enjoying most of my life. I might do things with friends, or [now] go out on the weekend, but he sometimes could not tell if I was really enjoying all that life had to offer. Just a thought that I have been pondering.





In other news .. I recently purchased Justin's Live From Madison Square Garden and Beyonce's The Beyonce Experience - Live. On a whole, both DVD's were worth the money. As part of my love for Broadway musicals, Movie Musicals and Cabaret, I love watching concert DVDs.

I have great admiration for artists [primarily in the pop / dance arena] who are able to combine various visual elements, storylines, different musical styles, lighting, staging and costumes to create a "journey." In my book, the master of all those elements is Madonna, followed by the Pet Shop Boys, Bette Midler, Kylie, Streisand, and during the 70's Miss Ross.

In watching the shows by Timberlake and Beyonce, you could see the influence of Madonna from the staging [Timberlake], choreography [Beyonce], and showmanship. C'mon guys, we are here to put on a show!
