OKKKKKK, just a few random thoughts and observations on this Halloween:

1. YES, I bought Britney's BLACKOUT album from I-Tunes yesterday, and have been listening ever since. My favorite tracks are "Gimme More," "Piece Of Me" [which is really damn good], "Heaven On Earth," and "Toy Soldier."

While I don't feel it is Brit's best, and she sounds the same in every song, I do feel there is some growth. I also doubt what others have said that she was uninvolved in this project and only showed up sing. If that were the case, her producers would have just aimed for "poppier" songs. Working with producers like Bloodshy and Avant, shows that Britney is still calling some shots.

Yes, her voice is so-so, but so are many others. I just feel that Britney could expand her vision [and career longevity] by becoming a true dance artist, in the vein of Goldfrapp. I believe with the edgier producers and a visual concept she could pull it off. Sure, she will not sell as many records, but her hardcore will follow her. And she just might end up with something else .. respect.

2. Ok, I like Halloween, but people, this is not the new Christmas! I was in Target yesterday and could not believe all the Halloween decorations, cards, candy, cds, costumes, etc. When I was a kid, Halloween was limited to one or two aisles in the grocery store where they sold the costumes in a box.

However, you could tell that Target was just itching to "officially" have Halloween over, so that Christmas could take over the store.

3. I have been struggling with some type of cough, sore throat, cold thingy for the past few weeks. I went to the doctor today, and they found nothing! I'm not feeling "sick," just blah. Since I'm going to be out of town next week, I need to get better .. pronto!
